Frieze Los Angeles plans 2023 art fair at Santa Monica Airport to be its largest ever
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will host the “Frieze 30” art fair, the largest outdoor art fair in Los Angeles County, on the Santa Monica Airport on June 2-3, 2020.
In addition to the fair’s art fair and concerts, the airport will also host a series of performances by Cirque du Soleil, including “The Existence Show” that will feature a variety of dance and physical acts.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the fair will open to the public on Friday, June 1, with a daylong celebration including activities and tours. On Saturday, June 2, a free festival of art and music kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with free gallery tours and activities; the fair begins at noon. On Sunday, June 3, a free public reception kicks off with a performance by Grammy-nominated artist, David Byrne.

Frieze 30 will be available for purchase at the fair and on June 3, 2020, will be available for purchase locally at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in Room 541.
